SanBao Underglaze Transfers

 

Sanbao underglaze transfers are made from underglaze that has been screened onto rice paper making them great for use on ceramic greenware or bisque ware. They can be fired to any temperature up to cone 10, although the lighter colours like pinks, work better when fired to cone 6 and under. For best results, use a zinc-free clear or translucent glaze on top. 

Application on bisque ware or leather hard or greenware: Hold the oxide-bearing side of the decal against the pot. Stroke with a wet brush to transfer. To transfer 100% of the oxide from the paper to the pot. Peel away the paper.
