The CW 101: Beginners Wheel Throwing Workshop focuses on the foundational skills of working on the potter’s wheel. In this 6-week course, you will learn how to prepare and centre your clay, create forms on the wheel, glaze your bisqueware, and everything in between. You’ll not only leave this class with a solid understanding of wheel throwing, but also a sense of community. The price is $350 per student, and all tools and materials are included.

The CW 102: Beginners-Continued Wheel Throwing Workshop is designed for students who already have some wheel throwing experience. If you’re comfortable with the basics—like centering and pulling walls—but want to build confidence and refine your technique, this class is for you. You’ll take on projects that challenge you, strengthen your skills, and gently push your creative boundaries. The price is $350 per student, and all tools and materials are included.

**To register for this workshop, students must be able to comfortably centre and throw a 4" cylinder.

The CW 103: Advanced Wheel Throwing Workshop is designed for potters who are confident with foundational skills and comfortable with intermediate techniques, including centering and pulling over 3 lbs of clay. This course is ideal for students ready to take on more complex forms and refined projects.

**To register for this workshop, students should have completed several beginner and intermediate wheel-throwing workshops. Participants must be able to independently center and pull 3 lbs of clay into well-formed cylinders—at least 6" tall—without assistance.


The CW HB 101: Beginners Handbuilding Workshop is all about getting creative, having fun, and exploring clay in a welcoming environment. Over this 6-week course, you’ll learn the fundamentals of handbuilding, including pinching, coiling, and slab construction. With guidance from your instructor, you’ll plan and create projects that use these core techniques. The price is $350 per student, and all tools and materials are included.

The CW HB 102: Beginners–Continued Handbuilding Workshop still centres on creativity, exploration, and having fun with clay in a supportive environment. In this course, students will be challenged to create more complex forms and continue developing their skills through guided projects and techniques. The price is $350 per student, and all tools and materials are included.

**Students must have prior handbuilding experience from a previous workshop to register for this course.

  • Please pay close attention to the experiene level required to take each workshop
  • Once a workshop has begun, refunds will not be given.
  • Please ensure you can commit to all class dates.
  • Cancellations are accepted up to 7 days before the first workshop date. All cancellation are subject to a $50 administration fee. Cancellations made 6 days or less before the workshop date will not be refunded.
