Coyote Underglaze - Violet (MBUG026)

A solid vibrant purple. Provides more reliable coverage than the Violet glaze, but must be covered with a Clear glaze for functional ware.

Coyote Underglazes are specially designed to be fired at cone 5-6.  The colours can be mixed and stay true and stable up to cone 10 in oxidation.  They are always bold and striking and are suited to functional ware when covered in a clear glaze and fired to cone 6. They can be used on either greenware or bisque.

You can control the thickness of your Coyote Underglazes by watering down slightly for the right consistency.
