By purchasing a membership with us, you are agreeing to the following policies:
Membership Commitment:
All of our memberships (except the 10-pack) are billed on a recurring 30-day cycle, starting on the date of purchase. There is a minimum three-month commitment before cancellation. After the first 90 days, you’re welcome to cancel at any time. Membership upgrades or downgrades can be made at any time.
Member Portal and Membership Cancellation:
The Member Portal is where members can make, manage, and cancel studio bookings. Membership cancellations can also be completed directly through the portal. It is each member’s responsibility to process their own cancellation.
Membership Rollover Policy:
Membership sessions reset at the end of each billing period and do not roll over. This means any unused sessions will expire when the new billing period starts.
Working on pieces outside of the studio:
Our memberships are set up so that all pieces must be made and finished in our studio to qualify for the free firing included in your membership allotment. Pieces cannot be taken off-site to work on and then brought back for firing.
Clay Storage:
Members may keep one box of clay on-site, holding up to two bags of clay (excluding the 10-pack membership). The Clay Warehouse is not responsible for any lost or stolen items stored in member boxes. Because of this, we encourage members to take all tools and personal belongings home and use the storage space only for clay.
Firing Limits:
Pieces must be made and finished in the studio to be included in your membership's firing allotment. A piece only counts towards your total once it has completed both the bisque and glaze firing. Firing counts are based on an 10-15oz mug-sized piece; larger work may count as multiple pieces depending on its size.
Membership Caps:
Memberships may be capped at any time if we reach studio capacity. When this happens, we pause accepting new members. Caps can be put in place without prior notice.
Liability Policy:
The Clay Warehouse is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged pieces, including works in progress, finished vessels, or items awaiting firing. We are also not responsible for any lost or stolen tools, clay, or personal belongings left in the studio.
We strongly encourage members to take all personal items home after each visit and to store only essential materials on-site. While we strive to provide a welcoming and well-maintained studio, it is a shared space, and we cannot guarantee the security of unattended items.
