Tuckers - Falls Creek Shino 1 KG Dry Glaze (673T)

673T Falls Creek Shino - the 673T Falls Creek Shino is great way to get some high-fire reduction looks at cone 6 in your electric kiln. This lithium-heavy glaze is a creamy colour on flat surfaces with even application, but can get some warm floating rust-colouring on edges, over details, and on thinner application, giving the ’shino’ style. This glaze is foodware safe.

Tucker’s entire line of 600T tried and true Cone 6 glazes are packaged in dry form making them an economical choice over liquid glazes. Just add water! Combine and experiment with glazes from the entire 600T line to create your own unique and interesting results.

Our dry mixes are perfectly blended in our intensive mixer before being packaged for you. Simply add water (check each individual glaze label or refer to our mixing guide for the optimum dry mix to water ratio), mix thoroughly, and then screen through a 60-80 mesh sieve. Please read the label on each glaze for specific application instructions.
